Hansen Heating and Cooling Warranties

LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY

HANSEN HEATING AND COOLING, INC., hereby offers a Lifetime Limited Warranty on company-installed air conditioners, heat pumps, and furnaces. This Warranty is valid only for residential homeowners who own and occupy the property at which the heating and/or cooling unit has been installed by Hansen Heating and Cooling, Inc. This Limited Warranty is given to the owner of the property at the time the equipment is installed by Hansen Heating and Cooling, Inc., and cannot be transferred to another person, partnership, or corporation.

THIS WARRANTY covers new heating and cooling units only and does not cover parts installed in existing equipment.

HANSEN HEATING AND COOLING, INC., reserves the right to enforce manufacturer warranties on equipment it installs.  Hansen Heating and Cooling, Inc., also reserves the exclusive right to determine whether equipment covered by this warranty should be repaired or replaced.

THIS WARRANTY covers the failure of manufactured parts in equipment installed by Hansen Heating and Cooling, Inc., such that the equipment does not provide the cooling or heating it was designed to provide and covers all labor. If the equipment fails, Hansen Heating and Cooling, Inc., will either repair it or replace it at no cost to the consumer. This warranty is in effect provided that the equipment has been maintained at least twice a year under a written maintenance agreement with Hansen Heating and Cooling, Inc., or another certified heating and air conditioning company. Hansen Heating and Cooling, Inc., will not be responsible for damage to the equipment caused by another company or by a person not employed by Hansen Heating and Cooling, Inc.

THIS WARRANTY does not cover damage to the warranted equipment caused by intentional or accidental abuse, failure to provide maintenance, natural events including flooding or wind, fire that does not start in the equipment installed, lightening, or acts of war.  This warranty does not apply to wiring or piping connected to the equipment and does not cover damage to the equipment caused by external wiring or piping that has been damaged or improperly altered. This warranty does not cover ductwork.

Specifically excluded:  Incidental costs such as lodging, meals, medical, loss of wages, and service payments to other contractors that may result from malfunctioning or nonfunctioning equipment.  And consequential damage to yard, dwelling, or contents of dwelling that may result from malfunctioning or nonfunctioning equipment. 

THIS STATES all the limited warranties made by Hansen Heating and Cooling, Inc., and contains the only promises for which Hansen Heating and Cooling, Inc., will be responsible.

CUSTOMER OBLIGATIONS
To obtain the benefits of this warranty, the customer is responsible for maintaining the equipment at his  expense at least twice a year by a certified heating and air conditioning contractor.  The customer must contact Hansen Heating and Cooling, Inc., and give Hansen Heating and Cooling, Inc., 30 days to fix or replace the equipment. 

ALL WARRANTIES implied by law, including the warranties or merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are hereby limited to the warranty period herein and shall expire at the end of such period.
